Medication adherence is a critical component of ensuring positive patient outcomes, as well as improving or maintaining Star Ratings.
Certain high-cost and high-risk medications require consistent adherence to avoid viral resistance, disease progression, and additional health care resources. In partnership with UMass Chan Medical School, we provide data analysis, monitoring, and tracking services (including reminder phone calls to prescribers) to ensure that members remain consistent with their medication usage. These services may utilize the broad resources of a Drug Utilization Review team of consultant pharmacists, data analysts, and pharmacy associates.
Star Rating Enhancement
In partnership with UMass Chan Medical School, we have developed Star Rating enhancement services that focus on key criteria used to measure plan performance. Our resources include more than 60 clinical pharmacists, a customer service contact center, a university-based survey research division, and data analytics capabilities.
